ARMHS

I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2021, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication Disorders. After graduating, I began working at Inspire Services as a Direct Support Professional in their residential programs, and began working my way towards their ARMHS program in 2022.

I chose to work in the ARMHS field because I wanted to positively impact individuals in their own environments and learn more about them one-on-one, while also working on goals they want to accomplish. I love ARMHS because every client is different, and I get to see each person work towards something new and exciting. Being able to see someone accomplish something new makes me happy and gives the world a new meaning. I love getting to work with individuals regardless of their status and level of independence. I have worked with different individuals who have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other challenges.

Outside of work, I love spending my time with family and friends, traveling, playing games, fishing, and shopping. Working in mental health has always been something I have wanted to do. Being in the field and working with individuals with mental health challenges has been a great learning experience, as each client teaches me new and fun things.
