Substance Use Counselor

I joined Inspire Services in 2021 and bring my experiences as a teacher and facilitator, and a passion for recovery and evidence-based practices. I also have a curiosity about the world, and the people that populate it.

I have received degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato in writing (Ba and MFA) and alcohol and drug counseling (BS). Some of my work history includes my time as the former executive director of Southern Minnesota Recovery Connection and have worked as a counselor in several outpatient settings. I believe that recovery from substance use is possible for everyone and I have a desire to work with clients' strengths to help them achieve goals and find a meaningful life free of chemical use.

In my personal time, I enjoy running, writing, and photography.
