ARMHS

My journey in mental health began as a Direct Support Specialist in 2014 in Adult Residential Services helping individuals dealing with a wide range of mental health and developmental diagnoses. By 2016, I transitioned to working as a Forensic Support Specialist in an inpatient setting serving individuals with various civil commitments related to their mental health, substance abuse, developmental, and behavioral needs. I am now embarking on a new adventure with Inspire Services as an ARMHS worker and am eager to continue expanding my skills, knowledge, and experience to best serve my clients.

I lean towards a person-centered, trauma-informed approach but ultimately, I believe it’s essential to meet the client where they are at and use what works best for their individual circumstances. I enjoy celebrating the “small wins” with my clients in reaching their goals and I look forward to helping them realize their full potential by leading a life that is meaningful to them.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, painting, coloring, and spending time with loved ones. During the summer months I try to get as much outside time as possible and do a lot of kayaking, fishing, and hiking.
